Alberta-based Field Stone Fruit Wines is unveiling a distinctive new look for its brand in 2011, after more than five years in the industry.
Fresh, crisp, and colourful with new labels, signature logo, and an all new website, Field Stone’s presentation combines the modern and the crafted sides of the winery’s offerings.
“With five different dessert wines and five fruit table wines, we wanted to make each varietal distinct, easily identifiable for the customer, but unified within the Field Stone family,” says Marvin Gill, Partner at Field Stone Fruit Wines.
The clean packaging features a series of colour-coordinated tones and a berry or fruit icon from which the wine is made, distinguishing them from grape wines.
“We didn’t want a pretentious or old world-looking label. Something approachable, appealing, and yet communicated a premium, limited-run product,” adds Gill.
The website mirrors the approach with easy navigation and a clean interface. Most notably, the site will be set up to accommodate and process online ordering and delivery.
“Because we’re only available at two year-round Farmers Markets in Calgary, and selected markets during the summer, having a 24-7 interface through which clients all over Alberta can order winery-direct really improves access and convenience,” Gill continues.
The online store is due to launch in March 2011.
The re-branding and website were created by Commotion Media Group of Calgary.
